Chnegdu Wenshufang street
Wenshufang, located by Wenshu Buddhist Temple, is an old-fashioned street of tourism and entertainment in Chengdu of Sichuan province. This widest pedestrian street in Chengdu was opened during the National Day holiday on 2006. It¡¯s a leisure and cultural land local style street. All of the things on this street are copy of relic, creating an atmosphere which you couldn¡¯t help but think takes you back to several hundred years ago. You can enjoy some famous Sichuan snacks here, like Dandan noodles, Long¡¯s Chaoshou, and the world famous dish ¡°Mapo Toufu¡±. Walking on the street, you can see people playing folk art, such as drawing pictures with heated sugar carving on rice, making toys by wet powder, and so forth. Of course, there are many stores on the street, selling all kinds of things, like tea, jade, traditional clothes, decorations, and a variety of souvenirs. It is worth to see it and have more other fun. |
