Cuiyun Corridor
The 300-li long Cuiyun Corridor to the south of the Jianmen Pass, centered on the city seat of Jiange, stretches southeast to LangZhong, southwest to Zitong, and north to Zhaohua and Guangyuan.

The Cuiyun Corridor is actually a section of the Shu Road shaded by over 8000 cypress trees lining both sides. It looks so vast and verdant from a distance that it is honored as the ˇ°Green Great Wallˇ±. This verdant wonder is said to be created by ZhangFei and his soldiers, but in fact the trees were not planted in only one dynasty or during only one period of time. The Cuiyun Corridor first took shape in the Qin Dynasty, and later another four tree planting campaigns at different times helped to establish this emerald corridor that Cuiyun Corridor as a ˇ°300-li road
With 100000 trees".

More than 2000 years have passed, but the cypress trees on the Shu Road are still luxuriantly green and full of life because of appropriate protective measures. The Corridor has maintained the original atmosphere of the ancient ˇ°Post Roadˇ±. The widely circulating stories about Zhang FeiˇŻs planting of trees and the anecdotes about the ˇ°Adou Cpressˇ± will undoubtedly arouse your interst as you travel along the Corridor.
