Itinerary
D1.Arrive Lhasa
Trip detail: arrive by train/plane at Lhasa, capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. Our experienced guide & driver will meet you at the airport or train station with Tibetan Traditional presenting Hada ceremony,then transfer to hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for you to relax and acclimatize.
D2.Lhasa city sightseeing(B)
Highlights:Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple,Tibet Thangka Workroom, Barkhor Street
Trip detail: Potala Palace,which built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king-Songtzen Gampo. It became known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka Park as his summer residence. After lunch, you will visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Now it is one of the most sacred place for pilgrims all over the world. After supper, you are suggested to ramble over the Barkhore Street,which is a famous local handmade crafts market

Highlights: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery,Tibetan Carpet Factory
Trip detail: Drepung Monastery which use to be the largest monastery in Tibet where lodged more than 10000 monks at its summit.
After that,visit Sera Monastery which is famous for its Buddhism scriptures debating.then visit the Tibetan Museum, the exhibition center of Tibetan traditional handicrafts.
