D1:Giant Pandas Breeding Base, Wuhou Temple, Jinli Pedestrian Street, Thatched Cottage of Du Fu
Pick up then transfer to the Giant Pandas Breeding Base,The giant panda is beloved by people from all over the world. It is a symbol of world biodiversity conservation, peace and friendship. All local and foreign visitors enjoy the beauty of giant pandas. Located in the northern suburb of Chengdu on Futou Hill, 10 km from downtown Chengdu, Giant pandas at the Giant Pandas Breeding Base live in large naturalistic habitats, which help the visitor to understand how these animals live in the wild. It is an excellent recreational area and a highlight of any visit to Chengdu.
Then visit the Wuhou Temple. Located in the south of Chengdu, the temple is a famous historical site dedicated to the memory of both Liu Bei (161-223 A.D), Emperor of the Kingdom of Shu in the Three Kingdoms period (220-280 A.D), and Zhuge Liang (181-234 A.D), Prime Minister of the kingdom. The temple consists of Liu Bei Hall, Zhuge Liang Hall and Hui Ling Tomb, plus some precious cultural relics, such as the "Statement at Departure" composed by Zhuge Liang and with the calligraphy of Yuefei, Longzhong Couplet also written by Zhuge Liang.

visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu. Situated on the side of the Flower Washing Brook in the western suburbs of Chengdu, it is the former residence of the celebrated Tang dynasty poet, Du Fu (712-770AD). Du Fu lived in Chengdu for three years and nine months, creating 27 poems, many of which are generally regarded as his masterpieces and are still chanted today.
