Southwest China, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces are generally considered the under developed and remote area of China compared with the Southeast coast area, thanks to the geographic location a lot of traditional life styles of different nationalities hand down generation after generation which makes southwest China a colorful multi-nationality inhabited area. We organize this tour for those who are interested in seeing real China, and the visitors will definitely find somthing different and impressive in this tour.
Day 01: Arrival in Guiyang
Our guide will pick you up at Guiyang airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Guiyang - Huangguoshu Waterfall - Guiyang
Take car to visit the Huangguoshu Waterfall, the Buyi Village where you can have a close view of the local stone architectures and the Dragon Palace. Drive back to Guiyang. (B+L)

Day 03: Guiyang - Kaili
Take car to Kaili to visit the Folk Museum, the Mantang Gejia Miao Village where you can see how they make batik and the Short-skirt Miao Village. Check in at the hotel. (B+L)
Accommodation: Grand Dragon Hotel
Day 04: Kaili - Guiyang
Drive to visit the Long-skirt Miao Village. Be back to Guiyang and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Jiaxiu Pavilion and the Qianling Park including the Hongfu Temple. (B+L)

Day 05: Guiyang - Kunming
Drive to Guiyang airport and arrive in Kunming, our guide will pick you up at Kunming airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 06: Kunming - Dali
Visit the Qiongzhu Temple and the Stone Forest. Take flight to Dali and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Accommodation: Asia Star Hote
Day 07: Dali
Visit the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagoda Temple and the Dali Old Town. The afternoon is free. (B+L)

Day 08: Dali - Lijiang
Drive to Lijiang for about three hours and transfer to the hotel. On the way to Lijiang, visit the Bai Traditional House in Xizhou and Zhoucheng, famous for tie dyeing. Visit the Square Street of the Lijiang Old Town. (B+L)

Day 09: Lijiang
Visit the Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, the Baisha Murals, the Rock Joseph"s Former Residence in Yuhu Village. Afternoon is free for you to enjoy the small bridges, swift streams, cobbled streets and grey tiled roofs of the Residential Houses in the Lijiang Old Town. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace in the evening.(B+L+D)

Day 10: Lijiang - Shangri-La
Drive to Shangri-La and transfer to the hotel. On the way to Shangri-La, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Stone Drum Town. (B+L)

Day 11: Shangri-La
Visit the Songzanlin Temple, the biggest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan, the Bitahai Lake, Shudu Lake and a Tibetan family. (B+L)

Day 12: Shangri-La - Kunming
Take flight to Kunming. Visit the Golden Temple, the Daguan Park and the Flowers and Birds Market. Check in at the hotel. (B+L)

Day 13: Kunming - Chengdu(B+L)
Leave Kunming for Chengdu after breakfast, our tour guide will meet you at the airport. Visit the Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding in the afternoon. Overnight in Chengdu Sheraton Lido hotel.
Day14: Chengdu -Leshan-Emei city (B+L+D)
Start from Chengdu by bus in the morning, sightseeing the beautiful rural scene of Chuanxi Plain. (two hours distance on the expressway) Reach Leshan at noon, after lunch sightseeing the statue of Giant Buddha which is the biggest of the world, Lingyun Temple, then drive to Emei mountain. Overnight in Emei Hongzhushan hotel.
Day15: Mt.Emei Chengdu (B+L)
In the early morning, leave hotel and change to pollution-free sighstseeing bus at the Mt. Emei bus center, then go to Golden Summit by cable car(RMB70 at your own expense) sightseeing the Golden summit and enjoy the cloud sea, Huazang temple, Golden Puxian Boddisatva statute. After lunch, take the cable car down then transfer to the sightseeing pollution-free bus and drive to the foot of Mt.Emei, go back to Chengdu. Overnight in Chengdu Sheraton Lido hotel.
Day16: Chengdu departure
See off at Chengdu airport,end tour.
