One-day easy trip to the world-heritaged place.
Pick-up at your place in Chengdu in the early morning and some 2 hours' ride to Leshan to see the largest sitting Buddha Sculpture in the world and Lingyun Monastery, where you will find the giant Buddha is right in the heart of a sleeping Buddha-like hill.It is quite an experience to have lunch at a local restaurant. Leshan is famous for its bean curd. After lunch, you will have time to see Leshan Town to get into the depth of local people or take a boat(RMB70 on your own) to see the grand Buddha while boating. You will be back to Chengdu around supper time.
The join-in group is a community of meeting new people and it has a Chinese-speaking guide. If you need an English-speaking guide, an extra USD45 is charged.
