Emeishan and Leshan area are Buddhism area.Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone sculpture of Buddha in the world, sits at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers. According to records, the carving of this giant Buddha was begun in the first year of the reign of the Tang Emperor Xuanzong (713 AD), and completed in the 19th year of Emperor Dezong (803 AD), a total of 90 years.
Mt.E'mei lies in the southwestern area of Sichuan basin in China. Its main peak is called as the Golden Summit while the highest peak, the Wanfoding Summit is 3099 meters above the sea level. As the famous scenic spot and the Buddhist mountain in China, UNESCO inscribed Mt.E'mei in the World Natural Heritage List in 1996.
Line A（Peak）
Day 1:Chengdu -Leshan-Emei city
Start from Chengdu by bus in the morning, sightseeing the beautiful rural scene of Chuanxi Plain. (two hours distance on the expressway) Reach Leshan at noon, after lunch sightseeing the statue of Giant Buddha which is the biggest of the world, Lingyun Temple, then drive to E'mei mountain. Overnight in E'mei city
Day 2:Full Day Mt.E'mei Sightseeing
In the early morning leave hotel and change to pollution-free sighstseeing bus at the Mt.E'mei bus center, then go to Golden Summit by cable car sightseeing the Golden summit and enjoy the cloud sea, Huazang temple. After lunch,return to Chengdu, Finish the tour.
Line B(Mid Peak)
Day 1:Chengdu -Leshan-Emei city
Start from Chengdu by bus in the morning, sightseeing the beautiful rural scene of Chuanxi Plain. Leave for Wannian parking lot located in the waist of Mt.E'mei by the pollution-free sightseeing bus at Mt.E'mei tour bus center, and then take the cable car to Wannian monastery, sightseeing Qingying pavilion, a strip skyline, enjoying the beauty of E`mei mountain, and monkey mountain, enjoying the pleasure of the coexistence of man and monkey. Then return to chengdu, Finish the tour.
