Day 01. Arrive Lhasa
Highlights: arrive Lhasa
Trip detail:take train/flight to the world's highest city,Lhasa,capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. Our experienced guide & driver will meet you at the airport/train station with Tibetan Traditional presenting Hada ceremony
then transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for you to relax
and acclimatize.
Day 02.Lhasa city sightseeing(B)>
Highlights: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple,Tibet Medical Factory, Barkhor Street
Trip detail:Potala Palace, which built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king,Songtzen Gampo. It became known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka Park as his summer residence.
After lunch, you will visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Now it is one of the most sacred place for pilgrims all over the world.Then visit the traditional.Tibet Medical Factory to witness how the miraculous Tibetan medicine was produced.
After Supper, you are suggested to ramble over the Barkhore Street,which is a famous local handmade crafts market.
Day 03.Lhasa city sightseeing(B)
Highlights: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery,Tibetan Museum
Trip detail: Drepung Monastery,which used to be the largest monastery in Tibet where lodged more than 10000 monks at its summit.
After that,visit the Sera Monastery which is famous for its Buddhism scriptures debating.then the Tibetan Museum, the exhibition center of Tibetan traditional handicrafts.
Day 04.Lhasa-Shigatse(B)
Highlights: Yamdrok Lake , Pelkhor Monastery
Trip detail: Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass (4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet (the other two are Namtso Lake & Lake manasarovar). When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Monastery.,which was founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa).
Day 05.Shigatse-Rongbuk monastery(B)
Highlights: Rongbuk Monastery,EBC
Trip detail:departing in the early morning,drive to Rongphu via Lhatse & Shegar, cross over Gyatsola & Pangla Pass, where you can see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, and a wonderful place to view Mt.Everest.
Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes abt 2hrs,or take a local sightseeing bus(price excluded).
Day 06.Rongbuk monastery-EBC-Shigatse(B)
Highlights: EBC Sunrise
Trip detail: see sunrise at E.B.C.,later start driving back to Shigatse.
Day 07.Shigatse-Lhasa(B)
Highlights: Tashilunpo Monastery
Trip detail: morning,visiy Tashilunpo Monastery, which was built in 1447 by the 1st Dalai Lama. Drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo River by the Nepal friendship road in the afternoon. Then, our guide will take you to visit a local Tibetan family + Tibetan carpet workshop for free.
Day 08. Lhasa–Next Destination
Highlights: depart Lhasa
Trip detail: morning,airport/train station drop off. End of tour.

Cancellation & Refund
*The reservation can be cancelled, changed or declined 24-hour in advance, both sides does not compensate each other any losses, but if cancelled changed or declined within 24 hours, 30% of fees will be charged by DreamsTravel.
*If you didnt show up in time to the pre-arranged pick-up point,the cost is not refoundable;if u choose 2 leave the group earlier than the actual end of the tour,the cost also isnt refoundable.
*During national holidays, such as Spring Festival, May Day, Chinese New Year.etc, if you cancel your reservation after booking, the fee is non-refundable, please be aware!
