Xinjiang is endowed with cultural relics, historical sights and natural wonders. The ancient Chinese Silk Road running through the region has left on its way traces reflecting its developing, flourishing and decline. The ruins of Loulan Ancient Town and Jiaohe Ancient Town bear witness to the region's glorious past. The Sunday Bezaar in Kashgar well presents Xinjiang's diverse culture. The Flaming Mountain in Turpan is good example of the region's rugged terrain. Xinjiang also once served as China's Buddhism center, which is proved by the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves in Turpan.
Urumqi is a multi-national city, where 43 ethnic groups reside. The city¡¯s rich cultural diversity is demonstrated by many ethnic minorities in the area. Han, Uygur, Hui, Kazak, Manchu, Sala and Mongolian people are all represented in this culturally diverse region.
Day 01: Arrival in Urumqi
Our guide will pick you up at Urumqi airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city
Day 02: Urumqi
Full day tour to the Heavenly Lake.
-Heavenly Lake: The Heavenly Lake is a very beautiful mountain lake formed more than million years ago in the 4th glacial epoch, so the water in it is pure and icy. The altitude of the lake is up to 2150 meters above the sea level and got its fame as the "jewel in the crown". To the east of the lake stands the Bogda Peak-the highest peak in the east part of Tian Shan Mountain, which is capped by glacier and snow glistening in the sun, finely contrasted with blue lake water, forming fabulous scenery.
Day 03: Urumqi - Kashgar
Visit the Southern Pasture and the Xinjiang Museum. Take a flight to Kashgar and transfer to the hotel.
Day 04: Kashgar
Visit the Id Kah Mosque, the Old Street, the Abakh Khoja Tomb and the local kindergarten.

Day 05: Kashgar - Urumqi
Visit the Bazaar and a local family. Take a flight back to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel.
-Sunday bazaar: The famous Sunday bazaar has been operating since ancient times, and the scale has become larger and larger, attracting merchants from all over Xinjiang and neighboring countries such as Pakistan and Kirghizstan. Farmers from the suburbs of Kashi come to the bazaar early in the morning, using various means of transportation, such as bicycles, motorcycles, tractors, trucks and donkey-drawn carts. The highways leading to Kashi are crowded with these vehicles and pedestrians on Sunday mornings, as well as with flocks of sheep.
Day 06: Departure from Urumqi
