Yunnan, known as” a colorful land”, has splendid mountains and turbulent rivers. The natural landscape is very attractive such as mounatians covered by snow all year round, the steep ravines, the dense primitive forests, the Karst stone forest and caves.
Stone forest: It is formed by the geological changes for about 100 million years.It is a large area composed of Big and small stone forests, Zhiyun cave and Dadieshui.
Lijiang: Located at the Northwest plateau of Yunan province, it is a tranquil and beautiful city. Lijiang ancient city listed as the cultural heritage and Yulong snow capped mountain are the most popular among people home and abroad.
Dali: a place with rich custom, Erhai, Changshan and Butterfly spring are known by many people.
Day 1: Arrival in Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, which is known as the Spring City, meet at airport, and transfer to your hotel. Then visit the Western Hill reserve (the Dragon Gate Grotto), and the Grand View Pavilion, which is famous for the longest couplet in China. Overnight: Kunming
Day2: Stone Forest sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to the Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful local Sani People living around, then drive back to Kunming. Overnight in Kunming.
Day3: Kunming-Dali
Take the morning flight to Dali. Cruising in Lake Erhai (or sightseeing the Cangshan Mt. by cable-car), then visit the Butterfly Spring, and the Temple of Three Pagodas, The Bai ethnic family at Xizhou Township and The Old Town of Dali. overnight in Dali.
Day4: Dali-Lijiang
A bus journey to Lijiang city in the morning. Visit the Black Dragon Pond Park, Shuhe Ancient Town, visit the Baisha Naxi Village where you will see the 500-year-old Baisha Fresco. Then back to Lijiang, visit the Ancient Town. Overnight in Lijiang.
Day5: Lijiang-Kunming.
After breakfast, drive to the Jade Dragon Snow Mt., take cable-car up to the glacier (4506 m high), hike in the mountain for about 1 hour to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak (5596 m high), then take cable-car down, drive back to Lijiang. On the way, visit the Ganhaizi Meadow and Baishui River. and in the Evening , Take the flight back to Kunming. Overnight in Kunming.
Day6: Departure from Kunming.
Visit the Golden Temple, which is the largest bronze-made temple in China, continue visiting the Jingxing Flowers and Birds market. Then transfer to airport for your departure flight.
